TRANSLATION
"Translating is an exciting job"
I am fortunate to practise one of the most exciting professions. Translating is a diverse and rewarding job which has given me the opportunity to work with all types of texts for various companies, from instruction manuals for a toy or farm machinery to press releases for a Swiss watch manufacturer or telecommunications company, as well as many internal documents, brochures, cosmetic websites, contracts and other legal or medical documents, etc.
Having worked with all types of documents, I have come to the conclusion that my skills and preferences are in the editorial field, so translating books, press articles, press releases, tourist guides and brochures, for example.
My favourite subjects are:

Environment, flora and fauna, ecology, permaculture, agroecology, ecological construction (in particular, buildings made from wood, straw and earth)

Humanitarianism, social matters, women and children rights...

Literature (in particular for children and young adults)

History, art history, geography, travel

Arts in general (painting, sculpture, cinema, photography, dance, music, etc.)

And many others.
This is by no means an exhaustive list and I am open to all types of projects, unless they are banking- or finance-related, as they are sectors I do not particularly like.
